We have two events coming up in October and so I wanted to remind you all and send the information to you.
Our first is the Meadows Country Fair, Sunday 20 October, 2024 and Members are invited to attend with or without their Ponies. This is always a good day where we set up and do demonstrations of our Performance Events, Jumping, Trail, Long-Reign, Harness. If you are interested in learning more about these Classes, this is also a great opportunity to get some tips from our competitors and it is also a really nice relaxing social day.
I am waiting on final information from the organizers, but we usually have to arrive by 8.30am and leave from 3.30pm / 4pm. There is no charge to attend and you also have the opportunity to check out the Field day activities.
If you are interested in attending, please let me know asap.
Our first Show the week after is the “Season Kick-Off Show, which is being held at Talunga Park, Mt Pleasant on Sunday 27 October, 2024. Attached hereto is the Show Schedule, Conditions of Show and Entry Form for the Show. As well as the AMPS® Risk-Warning-and-Waiver-Of-Liability 2024-2025.

I hope this email finds you all well. As advised earlier, the 2023 / 2024 High Point results have been finalized and all winners have been personally notified. Please find attached the list of Winners, the Calculations and also details of the High Point Presentation Luncheon to be held on Sunday
5th January 2025 at the Talunga Park Pavilion, Mt Pleasant Oval.
I would like to take this opportunity of congratulating not only the High Point winners but ALL Members who competed last season. You should all be proud of yourselves, just as I am, as Judges regularly comment how they enjoy Judging our Classes and/or Shows and say how pleasant our Members are and also how pleasant they are to each other and complement each other on their placings when announced in the ring and this makes for such a nice friendly atmosphere and you should all be commended for that.
I look forward to catching up with Members at our Shows. In the meantime, if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Hi All,
My sincere apology to Lilly Vaughan and “Ros-Dayl Miss Bella”, for my error on both the 2023 / 2024 High Point Calculation Sheet and also the High Point and Runner-Ups List of winners, as I inadvertently had them listed as Lilly Vaughan and “Ros-Dayl Mireya” and of course should have read Lilly Vaughan and “Ros-Dayl Miss Bella”.
The actual calculations are correct, its just that the incorrect Pony name was listed. Both have now been corrected and are attached herewith.
Congratulations to Lilly Vaughan and “Ros-Dayl Miss Bella” !!

Due to Member feedback and the increasing cost to our members entering our classes at other Group’s Shows where we have classes, coupled with the fact that we have to supply Champion, Reserve Champion and Supreme Sashes and our Group receives nothing from these Shows; we won't be having Classes at other Group’s Shows this season, we will only be having our own Shows.
I should point out that Members may see that Northern Hack & Halter Show is also advertised as being held at Talunga Park, Mt Pleasant on Sunday 24th November, 2024 and advise that this is correct, but that AMPS® won't be having Classes at that Show this year, we will be holding our own Show on the Oval at the same time that Northern Hack & Halter is being run. Nearer to the event Members will be advised where our Classes are being held on the Oval.

The High Points for season 2023-2024 have been finalized and as soon as all Members have been advised of their results, I will be emailing the complete list of Winners to Members.
